I'm choosing not to address the Grey Cup incident other than to say - Grow up. You are adults booing an 18 year old child who was asked by the organizers to perform. Not to mention it took nothing away from your ultimate football watching goal, so walk away, get a beer and let the kid sing.
Now that that is out of the way, Justin just received the Queens Diamond Jubilee award for his work abroad, but are people talking about his work? No, they're talking about his pants.
Justin wore (IMO) an unfortunate fashion mistake we perfected in the 90s, the overalls with only one strap done up, to meet PM Harper and have photos done in regards to the award.
To just quickly add context to this, Justin had just finished a meet and greet and was getting ready for his show, in a hockey arena. PM Harper had brought his son to the concert. Handlers on both sides decided to kill 2 birds with one stone and do the photo opp. The Biebs was not given time to prepare and apparently Harper wears a suit everywhere he goes.
Now, people are getting ragey over Beibers fashion choice. Saying everything from "He is a disgrace" to "He needs to show respect" to... Well... Flat out insults (isn't disrespect supposed to be the problem in the first place? Pot meet Kettle.). People are screaming from rooftops that he disrespected the Prime Minister, our country and The Queen.

People arn't even complaining about him leaving on his hat (which if I was worried about the whole thing would be my issue) they are focused on his choice of pants.
While I agree his pants were, ummm, an interesting fashion choice (Ok, they were BAAAAAD, even in the 90s when I wore the same look), they were just pants. Anyone remember what Lady Gaga wore to meet the Queen? Hint: Think full length, fire engine red latex.
Had Bieber taken the time to suit up, meet the PM and then been late for his own show people would be screaming he disrespected his fans. You know, the ones that made him capable of doing the things that earned him the award. He isn't a business man that carries a suit everywhere he goes, he is an 18yo pop star whose fan base is primarily 10-17 year olds. He dressed like one, how dare he?!
Even Harper joked about it on twitter saying; "In fairness to @justinbieber, I told him I would be wearing my overalls too. #cdnpoli #beliebers" - @PMHarper.
I could care less what Justin Bieber wears. Hell I don't care what any celeb wears really, but I guess it's good to know that should I ever meet the PM or the Queen, Latex Dominatrix is a more appropriate look than unfortunate 90s overalls.
